Ridgecrest Retreat

This is our third time staying at the Ridgecrest Retreat and we love it.

This is our second time staying in the Ridgecrest Retreat. We love the location -- high on a ridge overlooking the town and with easy access to the beach and the Fiscalini -- and the house itself, which is light and airy and comfortable. We did have an issue that the hairdryer provided in the master bathroom blew a fuse and we did not have access to the box, but a call to Scenic Coast fixed the situation very quickly. We love the house and we will be back!

Wow! This rental experience did not disappoint! The home was absolutely beautiful with nice upgraded features, furnishings, and amenities. It had everything we needed for our family of 5. There are multiple decks each with a unique view of Cambria. The home sits high on Park Hill on a corner lot which allows for amazing views. The home is a tri-level floorplan with the primary bedroom upstairs, the main floor on the entry level, and 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor. The main floor is an open great room with a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed. The property description was not only accurate but better than we expected. The home was clean and well maintained.
The only slight issue we had was the lack of space for parking (since we came in our mini-van with a bike rack attached), but were able to park sideways in the driveway. It wasn't a negative but something to consider if traveling in multiple vehicles.

The property management company is local so it was easy to communicate with them with our requests and they provided great customer service. The home is close to Moonstone Beach, Shamel Park, Fisalini Ranch Reserve, and Main Street in Cambria. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Cambria. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying at this home again in the future.:)

We had a very good time here. We enjoyed the views, clean air, sunrise and sunset from the patios. The house is very well maintained, very bright, beautifully decorated and with all necessities. We were very impressed by how clean it was, I vacationed on more beautiful properties in Cambria and this one was truly spotless. Thank you.

We have been renting from Scenic Coast for many years, but this is our first time in Ridgecrest Retreat, and we loved it. As its name suggests, the house is perched right at the top of the Ridge above Park Hill. From the living room, which is bright and airy, you have a 180-degree view of the village and the hills around you. From the primary bedroom and its attached deck and office, there is an ocean view. The house was comfortably furnished and well-equipped with a nice separation of space that we and our two teenage daughters particularly appreciated. (The house is a split level with two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs, a great room with kitchen on the main level, and the primary bedroom, office and 1 1/2 bathrooms on the upper level.) The Fiscalini is a short walk down the street and from there, you can take trails leading to town or to Moonstone Beach. We will be back!

Overall it was good. The house was a little warm, but otherwise good.

This house exceeded our expectations. The area is perfect. We took morning walks and a trip to Hearst Castle. The village is a short drive away.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ridgecrest Retreat! The home was in great condition and very clean. We loved hanging out on the deck which overlooks lovely Cambria. The other deck has a great view of the ocean in the distance. Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We love coming to Cambria and will definitely stay here again :)

The home was lovely, very clean and well kept. A few issues with the appliances, which the owners had left instructions about, but did not take away from our enjoyment. We had an excellent stay.

We had a great time at this lovely home. It had every appliance needed, and the kitchen was fully equipped, including whole beans for coffee and K cups. You do need to be able to climb stairs. I never got the shower as hot as I wanted but everythig else about our visit was perfect.

Our stay at Ridgecrest was awesome. The location was just right, being up on the hill and on a corner street. The view couldn't have been better, seen beautiful sunsets from top balcony. The place was clean, and this company or staff is great to work with.

The Ridgecrest Retreat was amazing all around. The house was clean and well kept. We had views of the ocean on one side and on the other side a view of the hills.

The house was very comfortable, lots of windows and nice views. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Nice neighborhood with a park and playground and pool. 5 minutes to Moonstone Beach.

Fantastic lighting, large open space, great kitchen, very clean, amazing place for a family and easy access to beach. A quick response from the management company. The only suggestion is providing guests with additional parking instructions for families with 3 cars.
