Oceanfront Stella Maris

Pros: house is cute and tastefully decorated. Well stocked with dishes. Nice location. Loved hiking at Fiscallini Ranchlike we always do.

Cons: listing stated we’d have use of washer and dryer but we didn’t find the washer and dryer. The doors that could’ve possibly led to them were locked and their welcome book stated doors that are locked are to not be messed with.
***we had their lights pointing to the ocean on and turned them off BEFORE we went to bed...around 9:30. Saturday morning both neighbors to the north came by the house and instead of actually knocking on the door and talking to us, they left a note basically telling us we need to turn them off early because they like to see the stars on the water. One neighbor even accused us of having a birthday party a few days before and leaving the light on late...we showed up the day before, Friday.

Sadly I won’t be renting here again thanks to the entitled and cowardly neighbors. I initially was sending all my friends pics of the views and we were already looking at dates to rent this house again. I have a girls trip planned and was going to get my bff away so he could decompress after the loss of his father but once the entitled neighbors left the notes I told all those friends about it and we agreed it would be better to rent someplace else.

Stella Mars was just as advertised with an amazing view! The kitchen was beautifully stocked with high end dishes, pots and pans etc. The entire home was professionally decorated. Most importantly beds in
every room totally comfortable. At first not going to give five stars because the gas fireplace glass had been broken so not available for use
and therefore the outdoor fire pit was also not available and to add humor to the list the power went out first night until 3AM. Our family has been visiting Cambria for over 50 years. We have always used Scenic Coast and have never been disappointed. The home is stunning we would definitely stay again!

Stella Maris is a clean and comfortable place to stay in Cambria, California. The home has 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, plenty of space to store your items, a gas fireplace and fire pit, and a beautiful ocean front view. The area is secluded so it is very quiet, and the view of the stars on a clear night is amazing. There are window screens so you can sleep with the windows open which was nice for us. The house is about a 10 minute drive from the main part of the city, and beach access is less than a block away. There are 2 driveways to park in and the kitchen is fully stocked with spices and lots of kitchenware, including a kettle and drip coffee maker - bring your own ground coffee. The only downsides I thought were that it's a bit pricey, and the amount of cameras, especially the ones in the backyard, can feel intrusive. Overall this is a very nice retreat, and I would definitely stay here again.
