A truly stunning view. Great cottage in a lovely location. Super comfy bed and living room space. We really didn’t want to leave and look forward to coming back.

We've stayed at this amazing, simple,gem for years. It never fails to please with its architectural pedigree (Designed by Warren Leopold),amazing ocean front, coastal views and 1960s charm.

Spectacular location and ocean view! Cambria is a lovely seaside town with adorable shops and wonderful restaurants! Marine Terrace area is not to be beat.

Amazing location, close to Fiscalini Preserve and steps from access to tide pools below the rental. Amazing 180 degree view with sea birds and otters to watch. Comfortable, if idiosyncratic, space for two where everything works! The kitchen is well supplied for all forms of meal preparation. We are coming back!

This gem of a home is ideal if you want to relax, watch the gorgeous sunsets and walk on the beach during low tide. Only steps away from the ocean and park so we felt no need to leave because location doesn’t get any better than this. We loved watching the seals and sea otters as we strolled thru Fiscalini Park and the beautiful terrain. In the afternoon we enjoyed our wine and Charcuterie cheese platter in the living room with panoramic windows which provided breathtaking expansive views of the ocean. This is definitely a home we will return to.

Stayed here 25 years ago for our 25th anniversary.Stayed here in November for our 50th! The house is more comfortable now with a few changes but the main reason to stay here is the unbelievable views. The location only adds to the experience.

My bride and I have made Cambria our annual wedding anniversary celebration destination for several years, and we've stayed in a number of vacation rental properties. For just the two of us, this little place is now our "go to" and all-time favorite. With tremendous views and all the accommodations needed for just the two of us, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We will definitely be booking this place again down the road!

What an incredible and unique place. Right on the cliff looking at the ocean. Extremely clean and neat. Fully equipped. Our most relaxing vacation ever.

What a special home. We stayed here for 3 nights for our elopement, and it was the most serene space to get ready for the big day (and the architecture and furniture is so cool - it looks amazing in the photos). It feels like you’re on a boat because you’re so close to the water. We watched sea otters every day playing next to the house on the rocks. We walked next door to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve for our little wedding ceremony, and it was such a nice walk with our dog the other days too!

The hosts were awesome and responded promptly to any questions we had. Very well stocked with all the essentials and the washer/dryer was handy too.

It was the best rental we have ever stayed in. We want to come back every year.

Due to the age/design of the home, it can be chilly at night and hot during the day but extra blankets were provided and we spent the daytime outside anyway, or cracked a window to let the sea breeze in.

My wife celebrated her Birthday on the seventh and we enjoyed every day at this house by the Sea! This was our third visit to this property. Hence the title of this review.

Booking was responsive to my questions and easy from beginning to end.
We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. At times we just settled in to enjoy the storm, and at other times we enjoyed the quick trip to town or outlying country roads. It's always a treat to be surrounded by so much nature, be it land or sea, both of which were in our view or any easy walk out the door!

We loved being so close to the power and energy of the ocean right outside our doorstep.

The house was amazing. Check in was easy. The hoe is spacious well kept. No matter where you were un the house ur eye always caught the ocean view. The bed was great. The living area great for relaxing and watching the ocean. Very clean. Everying thing u need for cooking home cooked meals great romantic setting. The outdoor space beautiful and places to sit and enjoy the ocean. I will go back again.

The house experience itself was really good. However, I did not feel satisfied with the process and agency. No human contact was not positive. When I called to try to do an early check in, the phone just rang and rang. Somehow, I doubt it they would've allowed me to do an early check in anyway.

We have driven by this fascinating home on the ocean for decades and yearned for the actual experience. It far surpassed our expectations. Especially appreciated ease in booking, cleanliness, quaint yet updated and luxurious... and oh my, that location!! Exquisite!
