Whispering Pines

The home is updated and nice, but a little small. Parking is very limited and on a dirt patch under a low tree. Bedroom tvs did not work at all. We had 2 young kids, so it felt a bit crampt and there is no outdoor space for kids. The road in is dirt, so it felt very dusty. Home is nice, but for only a couple of people and a shorter stay.

The house size and location were perfect for a family get together of 4 adults and one 18 mo grandbaby. The kitchen island was a great gathering place. Two bedrooms upstairs and one down gave us separation. House itself was clean BUT outside deck and bbq were not cleaned and bbq ran out of gas. Also the dw was broke which had just happened with previous guests. Fair customer service. Have had much better service at numerous other airbnbs.

We had a lovely time in Cambria and enjoyed staying at this house. The interior is really nice, though the grounds are smaller than the pictures depict and need a gardening cleanup. Otherwise, it was really nice. Close to the town, fairly close to beach access (though about a 10 minute drive), and very clean inside.

Beautiful home in a great location!

We four were comfortable. The main bedroom could have a kingbed. Personally the location was supreme since the house was only 0.7mi from the family celebration location for which we traveld.
We did not care but how to turn on any TV was mystery. Any guest who wants to view TV must be terribly frustrated.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the Cambria pines. The house was completely updated and very clean. Our bed was very comfortable. Location was very convenient. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

It was great seeing the scrub jays, Stellar jays, turkeys and deer in the open lot next door. Otherwise, unfortunately, we found the house to be uncomfortable and poorly stocked, especially compared to the many other houses we have rented in Cambria. The mattress was hard. There was only one extra blanket. The furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable especially with the tv hung so high on the wall that it hurt your neck. Only 1 extra kitchen towel, no extra trash bags, really old pots and pans, no small spoons, no small dishes. The personal size toiletries in the bathrooms had already been partially used and there was even hair on some of them. Not enough washcloths for 2 of us for a 5 night stay. It's the little things that can make or break a nice rental. I would rent again from Scenic Coast, but would not rent this particular house again.

This was a beautiful home. We enjoyed the deer and wild turkeys that visited in the yard. The home was very clean and well organized. It was easy to find items in the kitchen. We had a group with 3 couples. Each bedroom was well furnished and there were sufficient linens for all. There is no large table for group dining so people had to be divided among the kitchen counter and 3 person dining nook. Since our group tends to cook instead of going out to eat, we would like to suggest updating some of the pots and pans especially the nonstick pans with their coating eroding. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the amenities.

The group of which I was a part very much enjoyed the stay at this property. Overall the amenities were very much to everyone's preference and enjoyment. The only negative aspect I would offer involves the unit's TV services - we could not get either of the upstairs monitors to display content, and the main screen in the downstairs common area took a bit of wrangling to operate properly. The directions for operating the house's system seemed to be obsolete/superseded. Other than that somewhat minor nuisance, we managed.

We visit Cambria every year during the month of August. The locals refer to August as Faugust because of the early morning fog. Since we live in the California desert, the fog is a welcome brief relief. Our stay this this year was fabulous! Covid didn’t stop us from having a delightful time. We felt safe enough wherever we went. Our rental was very cozy and located in our favorite area of Cambria. It was easily accessible which means a lot to us. Obviously, recently refurbished, we enjoyed all the comforts of home. Loved the modern kitchen and baths. Beautifully decorated rooms. Comfortable living area with plenty of windows to view all the wildlife that roam in this woodsy area. Fiscalini Ranch preserve and the village are only minutes away. We would certainly consider this rental in the future.

We were celebrating our granddaughter’s 13th birthday. She choose Cambria as her destination! We found Whispering Pines and were more than happy with our experience. The posted pictures of the property did not do justice. Walking in was a designer’s dream. The kitchen provided all that was necessary for preparation of a full meal if desired. The Coffee Bar allowed for drip coffee or k-cups! The connectivity of the internet and streaming was first rate. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Bathrooms were well appointed and provided thick fluffy towels. Cleanliness of the house was first rate! Couldn’t have been happier with our selection and to top it off, we were able to watch a Mama dear and her babes while we ate breakfast! We will definitely stay at Whispering Pines again!

The place was amazing and it exceeded our expectations!!!! It was sooo clean and cozy!! We highly recommend this place! The shopping center is close by and it had amazing restaurants. It’s also close to the beach. Overall a wonderful stay!

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy time with the family or friends. Location was perfect! Close to the beach and downtown Cambria. Will definitely come back to stay at this vacation rental again.

This unit was clean, well-equipped, and the appliances worked. The inside is like new. We were two couples and two children and had plenty of space. The location is very convenient. Only one negative - the road in front isn't paved so it's a bit dusty when the weather's dry.

Very impressed with the home. All modern amenities with a stylish bend. Cambria never fails to impress and the Whispering pines home elevated the experience.

The location of this property was excellent. It was quiet, but only a short drive to town for activity. We saw deer and wild turkeys on the property. The house was decorated attractively with a well-stocked kitchen (utensils, appliances, etc.) I liked that a Keurig coffee maker was available. This was a family and friends get-away and it was perfect.

Lovely amazing upgrades! Looks professionally staged very efficient and modern and still maintained charm and style. Just perfect for our needs . and the bed was wonderful!
