This fanciful cottage in the pines offers quiet and solitude along with the romance of our central coast. The stained glass window of California Poppy hints at the whimsy inside. A combination of rich reds, greens and warmth of wood throughout draws you into the cabin's living room. Envision a blazing fire as you wonder where that book is that you have been meaning to read. The kitchen invites you in with colorful tile and open floor plan. An upward glance reveals a large loft bedroom. Climbing upstairs to investigate, you find a surprise just around the corner - a large glass enclosed Jacuzzi tub/shower with a very colorful tile parrot urging you on. Once in the bedroom you wander out the French doors to the deck beyond. Surrounded by trees, you can gaze up at the clear coastal night while the distant sounds of the ocean lull you. Look for the family of deer that makes a morning ritual of wandering through the yard. The 'Poppy Cottage' will have you falling in love all over again with the charm of our wonderful coast.
This home is pet friendly and has a fenced in yard.
1.CHECK-IN
TIME: After 3:00 p.m.LOCATION:683 MAIN STREET - CAMBRIA. LATE or EARLY check-in
may be made by arrangement only. 2.CHECK-OUT
TIME: By 11:00 a.m. or by arrangement.
UPONDEPARTURE:Please follow
the directions outlined in your check-in agreement.
3. RATES: All rental prices are quoted on a daily
or weekly basis and do not include applicable tax and fees. A
11% Bed Tax is applicable to all homes in Cambria. There is a $10 additional nightly rate for pet friendly homes, when you bring a pet. RENTAL
WEEK: Any consecutive 7-day period. The weekly rate is calculated
at 6 times the daily rate - 1 day is free. A $39.00 processing fee is required on all reservations. Rates
and terms are subject to change without notice. Some properties
have seasonal rates. Please check with the office for details.
4. CLEANING: Cleaning is charged as an extra and payable prior
to or at check-in along with balance due. Any excessive cleaning
charges will be charged to your credit card on file.
5. PAYMENTS: Make all checks payable to Scenic Coast Properties. A $39 processing fee is required on each reservation. A deposit of $250 at time of booking for bookings under $600, and $450 for bookings over $600. PERSONAL CHECKS: Must be received 2 weeks prior to arrival. $30
fee for any returned checks.
CANCELLATION: If you cancel your reservation 60 days in advance of arrival date, you will be charged a $150 cancellation fee. If you cancel your
reservation within 60 days of arrival date, you will lose your entire
deposit.
6. OCCUPANCY LIMITATIONS: Occupancy MUST NOT EXCEED number stated in either
the occupancy agreement or the description of each rental unit. NO
LARGE PARTIES PERMITTED IN ANY HOMES UNLESS PREVIOUSLY ARRANGED
WITH MANAGEMENT OFFICE. HOUSE
PARTIES ARE NOT PERMITTED at any of our homes. Should
you misrepresent your group or gather too many
people not registered at the home we can deny
occupancy. In this case, NO REFUND will be
given.
SHARING A VACATION HOME: If you
are vacationing with another family or families and plan to share
a vacation home
or book more than one home, please make sure
all parties are aware of the rental policies. In particular,
those policies
regarding pets and smoking.
7. FURNISHINGS: PLEASE DO NOT rearrange any furnishings.
8. PETS: An additional nightly fee of $10 per dog is charged on pet friendly homes.
9. KEYS: Will be provided to the property upon check-in
and must be returned to our office on checkout day. A
$5 fee will be charged on all LOST KEYS.
10. SMOKING: Please DO NOT SMOKEinside any of the properties. Smoking
is permitted on balconies, decks or porches ONLY.
11. REPAIRS: PLEASE notify our office IMMEDIATELY should anything in the home
break or need attention. Every effort will be made
to correct any needed repairs as soon as possible.
Scenic Coast Property Management does not provide refunds for power outages, cable, internet, hot tubs, or any other amenities that are not working.
12. TELEPHONES: Unlimited local calls only. NO long distance phone usage is permitted. Please provide
your own credit card or purchase a pre-paid phone card to place
long distance calls. Long distance is defined as any prefix except
- 927 - 924 - 926. A $10 service fee,
plus any toll charges, will apply on long distance calls.
A Non-refundable Damage Waiver at a cost of $35 will be charged when you make your reservation. The damage waiver waves your responsibility for accidental damage to the property up to $1000 dollars. This Damage Waiver does NOT cover intentional damage, excessive cleaning, or payment of fines. If you choose to opt out of the damage waiver a security deposit of $500 will be required at the time booking. A damage waiver is not available for a booking of 30 days or more.
DISCLAIMER: Scenic
Coast Properties shall not be held responsible for damage
or injury to tenant/s or any other person/s - guest/s; Agent
will not be held responsible for acts of theft, vandalism or
other damages to tenant/s or guest/s personal property that may
occur on any property or any part thereof, or in common areas
thereof. Tenant/s agree to hold agent and owner/s harmless for
any claims of damage or injury no matter how caused. Every
effort will be made to honor your reservation, but please understand
there are some situations beyond our control. Should
the property be unavailable for any reason, Scenic Coast Property
Management reserves the right to relocate you to another similar
property or refund your deposit. SCENIC COAST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TENANCY.

MONTHLY Policies
CLEANING
Cleaning is charged as an extra and payable prior to or at
check-in along with balance due. Any excessive cleaning charges will be
charged to your security deposit.
Security Deposit A Security Deposit is required of $1000.00, and a credit card on file. This
is to cover any damage to the premises or personal property, excessive
cleaning, or excessive use of utilities. The combined total of gas,
electric, and water for a month is not to exceed $200.00, any amount over
$200.00 will be considered excessive. Guest liability is not limited to
$1000.00. Water is scarce here in Cambria, so please use it sparingly. An
itemized deduction statement will be sent to you with the refund, within 30
days of your departure.
Our housekeeping staff is available for cleaning throughout your stay, at
the rate of $20 per hour. Many of our homes provide internet access. Be sure
to check with us when booking a home. Telephone use is restricted to local
calls only. A calling card is required for local toll, and long distance
calls.
Booking
Policies: A $39 processing fee and a cleaning fee is required on each reservation. A deposit of $1000 is due at time of booking, unless arrival date is within 7 days, then payment in full is due at booking. The balance is due and payable within 30 days of your arrival. You will be required to provide a credit card , at check in, for any additional charges that may arise.(damage,additional unreported guests or excessive cleaning charges). No refunds will be given for early departure or fewer guests after the home is occupied.
Cancellation
Policies:
Cancellation fee is $500. Refunds of the balance of deposit will be made with at least a 30 DAY NOTICE PRIOR to check in. If cancellation is made within 30 of arrival, you will be charged 50% of the total rent for your booking.
Repairs:
Scenic Coast Property Management does not provide refunds for power outages, cable, internet, hot tubs, or any other amenities that are not working.
Disclaimer:
If the
property you've booked should become unavailable for any
reason, Scenic Coast Property Management will try to relocate
you to a similar property or refund your full deposit.
